An unusual Boundoukou man’s wrapper cloth, composed of plain green warp of narrow strips in machine cotton hand sewn together and interspersed with repeating weft float flags in indigo , red , yellow and white cotton. This cloth illustrates two distinctive aspects of pattern layout within the Boundoukou tradition, namely a focus on the centre of the fabric and an alignment of patterns in rows down the cloth - a single large cloth now divided into sections and mounted on wall panels.
